Pom Cheer Clinic: Calling ALL St. Lucie & Martin County Dancers
We are hosting a Pom Cheer Clinic with Paloma Alvarez, Director of High School Dance Prep on 4/25/26 at our studio here in Port St Lucie at our studio!
- Open to ages 11-18
- Intermediate & Advanced Level Dancers
- Poms Provided
- Dress code: tight crop/tank/sports bra, tight shorts/leggings, dance sneakers, hair high pony
We will level dancers when registering. You do NOT have to be a dancer with our company to register and participate. This opportunity is open to ALL local area dancers that would love to learn pom cheer dance technique and train privately under her direction to pursue a career in the industry! This is a wonderful opportunity for our area and one your dancer will NOT want to miss!
High School Dance Prep Director: Paloma Alvarez
“Born and raised in Miami, FL, Paloma began dancing at just three years old and trained extensively in contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, pointe, and acro. She attended Immaculata-LaSalle High School, where she was a dedicated member, and later captain, of the Lionettes Dance Team.
Paloma went on to attend the University of Miami, where she became a four-year member of the prestigious Miami Hurricanettes Dance Team.
While cheering for the Hurricanes, she performed at major events including the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show, the NFL Honors red carpet, El Clásico alongside Marc Anthony, attended Pro Action Dance in Las Vegas, and more. She graduated in 2021 with a degree in Public Relations and Sports Management.
After college, Paloma fulfilled another lifelong dream, becoming a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader. Once again performing at Hard Rock Stadium, this time at the professional level.
Over the past five years, Paloma has worked as a Prep Master for College Dance Prep and Pro Dance Prep, where she’s mentored aspiring dancers preparing for college and pro-level auditions. Now, as the Director of High School Dance Prep, Paloma brings her extensive experience and passion for mentorship to guide the next generation of high school dancers.”
