Acro, Preschool, Ballet, Tap Instructor

Brittany Munoz was born and raised in Long Island, New York, later moved to Minneola,
Florida, and now resides in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She is a lifelong dancer with over 20
years of training and performance experience. She has studied a wide range of styles
including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, acro, musical theater, and production. Brittany
has competed in prestigious competitions such as KAR, Starpower, Legacy, and
Starquest, where she earned numerous accolades including Platinum at Starquest, First
Place and High Score at Starpower, and Third Place Overall and High Score at Legacy.

In addition to her competitive career, Brittany received a scholarship to cheer for Florida
Atlantic University, where she was a member of the cheerleading team from 2008–2010
and earned the title of MVP in her final year. She later taught dance for five years in
New York, sharing her passion and expertise with the next generation of dancers.
Brittany has also trained at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, taking classes
with world-renowned choreographers including Yanis Marshall and Dana Alexa, and
working with guest teacher Blake McGrath from SYTYCD. She also had the opportunity
to tour Radio City Music Hall, where she met and danced with a Rockette, an
experience that further inspired her passion for performance.

Beyond her dance career, Brittany holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science
Nutrition, blending her knowledge of health and wellness with her dedication to the
performing arts.

Brittany is excited to bring her dance expertise and knowledge for health and fitness to the dancers at SFDC!
