A dedicated dancer since the age of three, Emily is an accomplished performer and an alum of South Florida Dance Company. Her training spans prestigious institutions including Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York City, The Art of Classical Ballet in Pompano Beach, Houston Ballet in Texas, and Paris Ballet in Jupiter, Florida. Emily also trained professionally with Fred Astaire Dance Studios, where she competed in ballroom and Latin dance and earned the title of Cabaret Champion.
Most recently, she performed as a professional competitor in the “Dancing with the Martin Stars” fundraiser, continuing her passion for dance both onstage and in the community. She will be choreographing as a professional again with them this season alongside Director Brian Spector and fellow employee Antonio (Tony) Torres. She was an accomplished dancer in genres of dance during her decade of training with South Florida Dance Company, her strengths and focus in the areas of Ballet and Acro have influenced her decision to complete her training and certification with Acrobatic Arts this June. Once certified, she will be teaching all Acro classes at SFDC!
She is looking forward to sharing her love of dance with our dancers this Fall!
