Dance Summer Intensive | South Florida Dance Company

Summer Intensive at South Florida Dance Company is unlike any other on the Treasure Coast! Dancers take classes from several highly qualified instructors that are handpicked to pull out their best. This 2 week program is designed to ignite your passion and accelerate your growth in an environment designed and suited for success!

Nowhere else can students gain access to the amount and talent from so many instructors in one location. We designed this program around student interest and excitement to help them grow by leaps and bounds in a short period of time. Dancers will have Hip Hop, Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Modern, Contemporary, Acro, Dance Conditioning, Jazz Funk, Leaps & Turns, and Bonus classes like Musical Theater/Character and Heels classes!!

Summer training is crucial to a dancers continued growth and success. Dance is just like any other sport or physical activity. Time off equals time wasted having to get your skill back to where it was before you took off. Summer training may not be for every dancer, but for those hungry to reach greater abilities and have more opportunity the next season, they must train, maintain skill, and push themselves towards getting stronger for the next dance season.

All dancers auditioning and committing to Team SFDC Competition Team must register for and take both weeks of SFDC Summer Intensive.

* Dancers that are not yet a part of SFDC are required to attend the Intensive as they are after Team auditions held on July 25, 2026. Competition Choreography is taught during the same two weeks following Intensive class times.
