Sara Todd started her dance journey as a young child. She was competitively trained until the age of 14 when she started her Pre-professional training with South Florida Dance Company. In the summer of 2017, she was accepted into and trained with with the Milwaukee Ballet Summer Intensive.
In 2019 Sara was accepted into the Joffrey Ballet Pre-Professional Training Program where she attended until the pandemic reached it’s peak.
She later joined the U.S International Ballet Company in North Carolina where she preformed roles such as, Arabian Lead in Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s ‘The Nutcracker’, and the role of Brides Maid in Don Quixote. She was honored to produce mutiple choreography pieces for the Company before ending her time with the Company.
She is back in her home town, Port St Lucie, Fl, where she is sharing her years of professional training with her students at South Florida Dance Company. She currently teaches Ballet level 3, choreographs for SFDC’s ‘A Christmas Carol’, and Coaches for Team SFDC competition team. Last year her Team dancers placed 1st Overall with the piece she choreographed ‘Jailhouse Rock’! We love to have our alumni , like Sara, come back after pursuing their professional performance careers and pouring all that knowledge into their students at SFDC!
